Manufacturing by Hampton Reconstructed Stone Company Limited, situated near the village of Minchinhampton in Gloucestershire, dates back to 1946. Originally production concentrated on Cast Stone Walling Blocks together with high quality rubbed finish Dressings. In March 1999 ownership of Hampton Stone Limited was taken over by the current Directors and the Company continues to flourish. Hampton Stone production is manufactured either as a two-part semi-dry process or an homogeneous mix. Wet cast products are also available. Various finishes are used to reproduce the shading of Natural Stone which include Portland, Red Sandstone, Bath and the warmer North Cotswold, with other special colours to order.

Today the Company's activities are largely concerned with bespoke contracts both in Cast Stone and Precast Concrete whilst still retaining production of standard Lintols, Cills, Window Surrounds, Copings, Bollards and Facing Blocks. We offer special block finishes to meet particular design criteria under the brand name Masonstone, with the blocks varying in texture from smooth Ashlar to ribbed, chamfered and rebated profiles.

To complement our Cast Stone department, our bespoke wet-cast production has included units ranging from high- density reactor shields for the Atomic Energy Authority to large classically detailed cornice units in white concrete for the National Library of Wales. With demand for bespoke Cast Stone growing, we have expanded our mould making and manufacturing facilities and introduced new quality control procedures including regular testing.
